v. Bahamian Creole 101: Slackness
Creole is defined as “a mother tongue formed from the contact of two languages through an earlier pidgin stage.”
With that knowledge we present you with our brand new mini video series titled ‘Bahamian Creole 101.’ The purpose of this video project is to inform individuals who are outside of the culture on how to speak The Bahamian tongue which is heavily influenced by the English language. The other purpose is to eradicate the xenophobic dialogue surrounding the word “creole” for individuals who were born and raised into the culture.
In the fifth and final part of the ‘Bahamian Creole 101’ series titled “v. Slackness,” we explore the profane side of the cultural language. This video is NSFW (Not Safe For Work). Sit back and enjoy the final part of this fun experience.
